Print Friendly

It’s that time of year that everyone and their brother is trying to cleanse, be healthier, eat differently, etc. It’s the same story every year, and it’s a great one! The world is trying really hard to be healthier and hoping that they stick to their guns and make it their new lifestyle. One of the most popular (and one of my favorite) health trends is juicing. There is so much more to juicing than just getting juice from fruits and veggies, so tonight we’re going to help ease you into adding juicing into your lifestyle and hopefully clear up a few myths too!

Your juicing tools make all the difference in the world!

To get what you pay for in produce, you want to purchase a really good juicer. This is something you just can’t cheap out on because you will keep paying for it later with every juice you make! I was first gifted a cheap juicer when I first started juicing and that thing took every penny I had and then some because it was only giving me 1/2 of the juice I should be getting from all those delicious and high priced organic fruits and veggies. I am here to tell you, from my experience, those are not the best option, even when you don’t have a lot of money! If you save for a good juicer now, you will have it for years to come and it will save you a ton of money just by giving you what you paid for! These are my favorite options for juicers, from my own experience:

JuicepressoThis is one of the best juicers on the market because it is a masticating juicer that cold-presses the juice instead of bringing heat to it like most other juicers do in the juicing process. With no heat at all, this juicer leaves the most nutrients and antioxidants in the juice than any other juicer on the market! It’s also the easiest to clean and is made with BPA-free materials!

BrevilleThe juicer used in the Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead documentary (you should DEFINITELY check out this documentary! It’s life changing for sure!), this juicer was the first really awesome juicer I owned for myself. This juicer is capable of juicing all of your fruits and veggies and even has an extra blade that helps with juicing those soft ones like berries and melon! I loved that I can turn the dial to change the speed based on the hardness of veggies, giving you more juice than most other juicers!

Blendtec Blender If you want to make use of all of your fruits and veggies and keep the fiber too, whole juice is the way to go for you! Not all blenders are the same and not all blenders can make whole juice. There are only 2 blenders on the market that are awesome enough to make delicious whole juice right, and Blendtec is one of them! I LOVE my Blendtec blend so much! I prefer it over any of the other blenders I have tried!
