Today is the big V-day. It's that time of year when many people are scrambling to find the perfect romantic gift to give to their loved ones. I'm here to tell you that you can easily make a simple gift that they will love AND it will amaze them that you made it yourself!

DIY can show them how much you care!

Sure. Anyone can hit up their local Walgreens or Walmart and pick up the standard bouquet of flowers and a stuffed animal, but your loved one is more likely to notice the effort you put forth when you make their gift yourself! Making it yourself might sound like a lot of legwork and Pinteresting, but it doesn't have to be! There are a ton of super simple gifts that can be easily made in just a few minutes and your lover or BFF will marvel over the fact that you made it yourself!

Plant Therapy's Love Vanilla brings the romance

There are quite a few essential oils that can turn up the romance with their known aphrodisiac inducing scents. One of my favorite aphrodisiac scents is vanilla. The sweet and intricately deep scent that vanilla brings to pretty much any other oil is extremely sensual and decadent.  Knowing just how divinely enticing vanilla is, Plant Therapy created their own aphrodisiac essential oil blend by combining to totally sweet and delightful scents (vanilla and ylang-ylang) and combining them to make their delightful Love Vanilla synergy blend! To make an extremely simple aphrodisiac inducing massage oil, I am combining their blend with some of my favorite carrier oils that I always keep on hand!

    DIY Love Vanilla Massage Oil

To make this recipe even easier, you can combine the essential oil drops with Plant Therapy's Marvelous Massage carrier oil blend (in the 2 oz. size) instead of the carrier oils in the recipe below.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 50 drops Plant Therapy Love Vanilla essential oil (you can use up to a 3% dilution at 108 drops but this eo blend is very strong in scent, so I like to use a smaller dilution!)
    • 2 Tbsp. grapeseed oil
    • 2 Tbsp. fractionated coconut oil
    • 2 oz. bottle

    DIRECTIONS

    1. In the 2 oz. bottle, combine the essential oil with the carrier oils. Swirl the bottle to completely mix together!
    2. Enjoy!
